Connecting Tianjin to Baoding, Hebei Province, Jin-Bao railway line starts from the high-speed yard of Tianjin West Railway Station and ends at Baoding Station via Bazhou and Xiongxian of Hebei Province. The total length of the railway line is 157.8 km, 132.9 km of which is new line, and the existing Jing-Guang Railway is 24.9 km. About 44% of the total line is the bridge. A total of seven stations set. they are Tianjin West Railway Station, Shengfang Station, Bazhou West Station, Baigou Station, Baiyangdian Station, Xushui Station, and Baoding Station.

Connected with Jin-Qin high-speed rail, Jin-Bao railway passes by Qin-Shen Passenger Dedicated Line, Ha-Da line and reaches to the three provinces of North East China. From Shenyang to Guangzhou via Tianjin and Baoding, it takes only 11 hours to the minimum for the whole journey. From Shenyang to Taiyuan, Xi'an, Shijiazhuang and other places via Jin-Bao Railway will also significantly shorten the time. It also becomes convenient access to connect Tianjin, Hebei and the central and western regions. Also horizontally it connects these three busy lines: Beijing-Guangzhou Railway Line, Beijing-Kowloon Railway Line, and Beijing-Shanghai Railway Line, which will help speed up the integration of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei. Jin-Bao Railway has been officially commenced on March 21, 2010 and officially opened on December 28, 2015.
