Passenger Service System and Fare Collection System of Lhasa- Xigaze Railway
Located in the southwest of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, this Lhasa- Xigaze Railway starts with Lhasa Station of Qinghai-Tibet Railway, goes along with Lhasa River to the south direction, passes by Duilongdeqing County and Qushui County, turns up to west part of the Yarlung Zangbo River, crosses the 90 kilometers Yarlung Zangbo Gorge area and reaches to the main town Xigaze in the southwest after Nimu County and Renbu County. All of the line is located within Tibet Autonomous Region. It passes through Lhasa and Xigaze area of Tibet Autonomous Region. The length of the main line is 253.063km.

The scope of the project includes the additional ticketing equipment and the central equipment of passenger service integrated platform of Lhasa-Xigaze railway line of Xining information center, and ticket sales and reservation system, passenger service system, freight transport management, office system and public security system for Xierong Station, Qushui Station, Nimu Station, Renbu Station, and Xigaze Station. Besides above, it also includes the auxiliary project of integrating the ticketing system into corresponding existing the railway ticketing center (Qinghai-Tibet Railway Company). The freight transport and office automation system project includes the auxiliary project of integrating of the existing freight transport and office automation system of the railway bureau. The public security management project includes the auxiliary project of integration those police stations along the railway line. The area where the stations are located has got an obvious plateau climate with less air humidity, bigger temperature difference between day and night, and dry air. In such a harsh working environment, the employees of the Company were actively involved in the construction of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway and contributed their efforts to promoting the economic development and prosperity of the Tibet Autonomous Region and improving people's travel conditions. At the same time, in the construction process Qinghai-Tibet railway project, we continue to accumulate valuable experience and has trained a team for the construction of plateau railway.
