located in the city and the suburb of Beijing, Xi-Huang line starts from Beijing West Railway Station, passes the existing Liu-Guang west line to Guang’anmen station, crosses Jing-Shan Line and Yong-Feng fourth lines, also south third ring road and south fourth ring road, follows west side of the existing Xi-Huang line to southward, crosses Feng-Shuang railway, and stops at Liying station.

The main works include: the second line of Xi-Huang Line, 16.143km; reconstruction of Da (Dahongmen) – Li (Liying Station) Line, 1.6km; reconstruction of Liu (Liucun Station) – Guang (Guanganmen Station) line, 1.953km, reconstruction of Guanganmen station, Li Ying station related with Beijing West Railway Station: add the ninth and tenth platform and the corresponding arrival & depart line, Add 20420 square meters non-pile canopy for the eighth, ninth, and tenth platform. South station room opened. Reconstruct five level crossings into overpass bridges including Xiaomachang, Shoupakou1#, 2#, Sanluju and Liujuanlu. The scope of the communication automation project includes 3 stations: Beijing West Railway Station, Guang'anmen Station, and 2 sections: Beijing West to Guang’anmen and Guang’anmen to Liying. Automation reconstruction from the eighth platform to tenth platform, communication system reconstruction from Beijing West Railway station to Liying Station. The implementation of the project includes passenger arrival and departure notification system, passenger broadcasting system, passenger guidance display system, passenger TV monitoring system, clock system and new digital dedicated communication system. And the expansion of existing passenger service information system of Beijing West Railway Station.
