The traditional information display system mainly consists of front end LED screen, background database and passenger guidance display system of control hosts.
Windows 98 operation system is usually adopted. Some are still using foxbase as the background database. and the data is always transmitted through 485 serial interface. character is often used as the display mode.Each manufacturer of display system are doing business in their own way. There is no unified interface between them. Being not compatible brings a lot of difficulty to the system construction and the routine operation & maintenance.
And the current railway stations usually adopts new model information integrated display system. independent information display systems like passenger guidance, arrival & departure display, video advertisement, information release are integrated in a comprehensive system.
Taking the station integrated platform as the data source, the system supports various display terminals including software system structure LED, LCD and plasma.It has distribution structure including integrated management, partition display, remote control system adopting client (Browser)+ application server.
Besides relevant station information, it also provides news, bulletin, weather forecast and service consultancy.
Synthetically using display means like LCD, PDP and LED etc, Winsion's integrated display system is able to display passenger guidance information,dredging information, emergency command information and daily public information automatically according to vehicle running information and event trigger condition. Technical application:
1) Network Transmission:
TCP/IP network technology adopted.Functions like broadband, distance, reliability and bidirectional communication of the whole control card can be achieved through TCP/IP protocol. This means the same network can connect more devices with longer distance. The transmission control protocol ensures the LED product system has a better controlling quality and reliability and the bidirectional communication device has a more effective remote monitoring and controlling.
2) Display Control of LED Screen:
adopt LED display control technology based on ARM and Linux operation system.Its advantages includes less energy consumption, small volume, fast processing speed, powerful functions. It enables the screen to display more software colors with higher contrast. It can achieve various special cartoon effects which is more similar to the reality with delightful feeling.
3) System Data Trans Format:
adopt XML data format.Based on various features of XML for network data storage, display and transmission. The new integrated display system of station information adopts XML as the main trans format for data transmission between systems.
The relational database and other resource form the system layer together and build up the basis of the whole system.
The system layer is also the application support layer to ensure the system applications run normally. It includes external information system interface and internal processing communication interface. Message service and stream includes external information system interface and internal processing communication interface. The message service and stream service have been implanted in the platform both independently and together.
And the information release engine has been embedded in the platform independently and together as a whole service.
As the core of the whole intelligent information release system, the information release engine is in charge of database storage, automatic packaging of display content, background maintenance of database information, response to client-side reading request and other main functions.
The application layer includes the applications of station information display including terminal configuration and status management, basic configuration management, account permission management, passenger transport plan management, broadcasting control management and dynamic operation management.
The business processing combines the train information and the business procedure. It hands the information which conforms to the display rules to the release engine in a specific format and meanwhile store relevant processing information and feedback in the database.
The application layer is to achieve relevant applications related with industry processing rules. It's the main business achieving module of this intelligent system.
Processed, managed and controlled by the application of application layer, relevant data information will be displayed on different display terminals of the display layer in a stipulated format.
By automatic shielding system variance of various display terminal and adopting client technology of display device, the information display functions of the display terminal are becoming more powerful and flexible.
In terms of practical application, the system has achieved real time release and inter-cut function while setting train schedule information, dynamic information of train running, video, telecast, picture, text and play list as the information source.
The system has flexible grouping and split screen function. it can not only grouping according to the terminal areas to improve pertinence of display by playing different content based on different audience, but also display various types of content on a same screen. When delivering the main information, meanwhile, the convenient information like brief news, weather forecast can be also displayed. Information volume has been increased on the basis of providing the main information accurately in time.
