The power supply and environment monitoring system consists of server, monitoring terminal and sub-station RTU equipment. The sub-station RTU equipment consists of intelligent integrated collector, monitoring module, environmental sensor and detector. It can detect temperature, moisture, smog, infrared, water and door sensor to monitor the AC/DC power equipment, UPS power supply, AC and equipment room environment in real time, and also to achieve the access with card swipe between the equipment room and cable and device room.

The main functions of the monitoring center: 1) Collecting, processing, storing, analyzing, displaying and outputting of important information such as alarm, performance and other information of the equipment of the site monitoring station in the administration area; the historical records of alarms, measurements and control can be viewed. Main Functions of Monitoring Station:

1) The site monitoring equipment RTU is the basic unit of the entire monitoring system, which completes collection, processing, alarm of various data of the station and temporary storage of alarm data, then transmits the collected data to the monitoring center and receives the control command from the monitoring center. It controls corresponding equipment through the monitoring module and complete corresponding work according to the control command. Collection method of complete hardwired, modularization and standardization is adopted at site. If necessary, RTU can support a simple local regional management to achieve temporary management under emergency conditions / fault conditions.2) The site monitoring device RTU has an embedded Web server. It can authorize the user to log in through the network remotely to view the parameter configuration, real-time monitoring data, historical alarm data, and undertake the control of the monitored object. In the system of downgrade operation mode, remote users can bypass the monitoring center to complete the above operation through a browser (such as Microsoft's IE browser) directly.


Interoperability: 

The system has interoperability. That is, when a certain condition in the monitoring system is established, the corresponding action is executed immediately. For example, when the ambient temperature is too high, automatically make the air conditioning work in the cooling state; when the temperature is too low, and automatically make the air conditioning work in the heating state. The interoperability rules are defined by the administrator. When the general operator is monitoring, the monitoring system will use the defined interoperability rules. And some actions will be automatically executed when the conditions are met.


Self-Diagnosis Function:

The system has self-diagnosis function, which can timely diagnose and alarm the faults and the communication interruption of hardware and software, and automatically generate the self-diagnosis report.



Reliability:

The monitoring system has higher security and reliability than the monitored equipment. that is the failure of the monitored equipment does not affect the normal operation of the monitoring equipment. Fault Tolerance:

1) It won’t cause the failure of the whole system due to failure of the individual modules or components. The system can remotely control switching on / off of a module or sensor from the monitoring center. 2) The system has a downgrade operation mode, in the case of failure of system center equipment or interruption of part of the network, the front-end monitoring station that is network disconnected can complete collection and processing of data and alarm storage automatically and accept the data access from the local or connected computer terminal and automatically upload the alarm data when network recovered.


Maintainability:

1) The system provides means for maintenance personnel to quickly understand and rule out system failures. 2) When the maintenance personnel enter the communication station, the system does not issue an access control alarm or the management center will know that the access control alarm is triggered by the maintenance personnel.3) The maintenance personnel can add and delete the administration site according to the need, and can also adjust or replace the whole background map according to the geographical location of the administration site.  4) Through the local management interface or network interface, the RTU equipment can be visited very conveniently. The system is completely independent of its monitoring object.


Data Recoverability:

Historical data and statistical data for regular backup, the system can use two libraries, one for the current library, the other one for the backup library. If you set the backup period to 6 months, then the current library will keep the last 6 months of real-time data and statistical data. The data before 6 months will be transferred to the backup library. When the data in the backup library is over 6 months, you can notify the maintenance personnel to back up the data to a file. When data query and statistics, get data from different libraries according to time of query or statistics.


Extensibility:
