The fare collection system can be divided into control center system, depot system, ticket sales and recharge point system and vehicle-mounted subsystem in terms of functional structure. The control center system is the management core of the rail transit fare collection system, which provides the operation control for each depot system. The control center sends the operating mode and other parameter information together with the system parameter information to each depot management system; receives the transaction data uploaded by the ticket sales and recharge system and process statistics of the proceeds of each ticket sales and recharge system.
Business Layer Supported
In order to meet the needs of the future business expansion of the system, the system is built on a new generation of fully scalable IT infrastructure platform, which includes network infrastructure platform, operating system and database system. Supporting the middleware in the business layer ensures the data exchange between systems, which is the basis and guarantee for the core business layer and application to process. Database system is used for the realization of data storage, extraction, and backup.
Core Business Layer
The core business layer is based on supporting data exchange of the business layer, which is the key to the system. This layer provides all support services for the business layer, including business flow control, rule definition analysis, message forwarding, message routing control, and related accounting processing. The core business layer mainly includes configuration management, key management, issuance management, operation management and financial management. The configuration management includes organization, personnel, equipment, and management of software updates. The key management provides the generation and maintenance of keys at all levels. The card issuance management is responsible for the production and distribution of IC cards. The operation management includes line management, vehicle management, inventory management, cash management, ticketing management; the financial management includes capital management, yield management and financial settlement.The core business layer is a service platform, which can define various business items supported by the system in the business layer according to practical business on basis of the core business layer.
Application Layer
The application layer is the part that provides the core application service. The application layer accepts the service requests submitted by the presentation layer. After the service processing, the application layer is responsible for feedback and the process definition and processing rules of relevant business categories. The application layer is based on the support platform provided by the core business layer.
Network Architecture
The fare collection system requires higher reliability, transmission capacity and manageability of the network. The backbone network requires high-speed fault-tolerant network technology and intelligent network products to facilitate the management of the whole network. The main body of the network of the fare collection system consists of two levels: the control center and the station, networking with Gigabit as the core backbone and 100Mbps end-to-end. Logically divided into two layers: the core layer, access layer. The core layer's primary purpose is to provide reliable backbone transmission structures through high-speed forwarding communication. Therefore the core switches should have higher reliability, performance and throughput. The access layer is responsible for the connection and boundary control of the terminal.
Core Layer
The core layer is configured with advanced core switch, placed in the control center room. The core layer connects with the access switch through the 1000M or higher port to form the backbone of the control center system network.
Access Layer
The access layer is configured with access switch, placed in the control center room, depot and ticket sales and recharge system. The access switch port connects with the core switch through the 1000M port and adapts to the terminal through 10M / 100M to connect all the computers, special equipment to the network. The access layer does not require a redundant design.
